The district shall provide the address of the trauma-informed website developed by DESE to all parents before October first of each school year (section 161.1050, RSMo) once developed.

Mrs. Cotrel graduated from Drury University earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and continues her education at Missouri State University working to obtain her graduate degree in counseling. Mrs. Cotrel has been an employee at Plato R-V since 2008 and has been teaching science at the secondary level for 5 years. Mrs. Cotrel strives to instill her passion for lifelong learning in each of her students while showing them the relevance between science, engineering, and life.

Mrs. Cotrel enjoys being outdoors, farming, sports, and spending time with her husband and their three children. Her love for the outdoors and the environment inspired her and her Environmental Science students to start the 417 Stream Team at Plato R-V.
