She started her education at Ozarks Technical Community College and then transferred to Drury University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. Mrs. Johnson then accepted a teaching job at Dixon High School, where she taught Biological Sciences for 7 years. During this time, Mrs. Johnson obtained a Master Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a Master in Educational Administration.Mrs. Johnson developed a passion for leadership through her roles in Dixon: she was an afterschool administrator, building and district Leadership Team member, and a member of their Aspiring Administrator program. In these roles, Mrs. Johnson focused on intervention programming and improving instructional practices, as well as increasing community and school partnerships.

Mrs. Johnson and her husband, Jason, love spending their time outdoors with their 4-year-old daughter Renleigh. Much of their summertime is spent in their backyard, where they enjoy swimming and kayaking the river.Mrs. Johnson is constantly looking for ways to grow and help those around her grow as well. She is excited to work with Plato R-V team to continue the growth they have started to ensure our students’ success.
