Kari Pittman graduated from Drury University with a Bachelorś degree in Elementary Education and continued on to obtain her Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from William Woods University. She is a veteran teacher who has taught 17 years in the Plato School District and is currently teaching 5th grade Math and Science.

Ms. Pittman is a third generation alumni graduate from Plato; continuing on the tradition with her two sons, Joel who graduated in 2016, and Marshall who graduated in 2019. She was inspired to be a teacher because she believes that every student matters. She is truly invested in making this community great.
