Laura Steinbrink has been teaching for 24 years. Out of those 24 years, Mrs. Steinbrink has taught in two states and five districts as her husband’s job with Walmart moved them around several times. Mrs. Steinbrink presents SEL, technology integration and instructional practices at workshops in our area, state, and nationally. She currently teaches English II, Mythology, Yearbook, and Spanish I/II, and Media Literacy. Mrs. Steinbrink serves as the tech integration coach for grades PK-12. Besides her teaching responsibilities, Mrs. Steinbrink also serves as the District Communications Director, and District Webmaster, esports General Manager, and FCA co-sponsor.

In her spare time, Mrs. Steinbrink sings in a contemporary Christian band ONE, as well as in her praise team at her church. Mrs. Steinbrink is the author of https://rockntheboat.com , a Feedspot Top 200 blog in Education, and is a contributing author in Focused Environments: Stories of Change Vol. 3 by Connected Learning and In Other Words, Quotes That Push Our Thinking by Rachelle Dene Poth via EduMatch publishing company. She has published articles for Matt Miller, author of Ditch That Textbook and Tech Like A PIRATE; Denis Sheeran, author of Instant Relevance; ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education), the May and March 2019 issues of the ISTE Teacher Education Network, Wakelet, and Kahoot, Parent Square Learning Network, as well as articles here and there for other educationally related companies. Laura’s work in the classroom here at Plato has been featured in ISTE’s Empowered Learner Magazine, October 2019 issue, Designed to Learn by Dr. Lindsay Portnoy, and Tech Like a PIRATE by Matt Miller.
