The Plato Eagles Baseball team is inviting the community to come out and support them in their first ever Hit-A-Thon Fundraiser on September 30th starting at 12pm. Along with the Hit-A-Thon there will be concessions, raffles, and a silent auction. #platorv

Mrs. Cook’s 2nd grade students celebrated Dot Day by reading the book “The Dot” and completing some STEM activities using dots. Thanks to some generous donations each child received a copy of the book! #platorv

Third grade students completed a Science of Flight PLTW project. They designed cardboard gliders, tested them and made changes to their design until they were happy with the distance their glider could travel. #platorv

Physical science students taking measurements on 15 items in room length, width, height, and mass. They inputted collect data into Google sheets and made bar charts. #platorv

The Plato Cross Country Team competed at the Joe Bill Dixon Zizzer Invitational in West Plains. The Middle School Boys took 1st Place. The Middle School Girls took 2nd place. The Plato Cross country teams competed in the Steve Wagner Invitational meet in Willow Springs on Thursday. The JH boys and girls teams both took second place. Biomedical students learned how your body responds when you tell a lie this week. Students played 2 truths and a lie while hooked up to a lie detector. They monitored respiration and heart rates on a graph to spot each other's lie. #platorv

The High School baseball team will be participating in the Frisco League baseball tournament this week. Plato will play Dixon today at 4:30pm. All games will be held at Deer Lick park in Licking, MO #platorv
