Plato FBLA attended the Missouri State Leadership Conference this week. Highlights included competitions, workshops, a trip to Wonders of Wildlife, some frozen yogurt, and lots more fun. We would like to extend a special congratulations to Vanessa Hurley on placing 6th in the state for Real Estate. Great job, all members and competitors!

Last week at the Board of Education meeting, we swore in incumbents Andy Cook and Paula Cantrell, and officially welcomed our newest board member, Laura Steinbrink.

We appreciate their continued dedication and willingness to serve our district and community. Please join us in welcoming all three to the beginning of this new term!

The Eagles dropped a pair of games at the Willow Springs tournament. They lost to Mt. Grove 6-5 and Norwood 5-1. #platorv

Eagles traveled to Fordland and came away winners 13-2... Improving their record to 13-3 on the season. JV Eagles lost 2-1. #platorv

This morning, Bus 8 was involved in a minor accident. We are pleased to share that everyone is safe and no immediate injuries occurred.
The safety of our students is our highest priority and we will continue to follow all standard safety protocols. The families of the students directly involved have been personally contacted by school administration.
We appreciate the quick response from our transportation team and local law enforcement.

The Plato High School Track team competed in the Vienna Invite on 4/7 & the lady eagles took 3rd place as a team! HIGHLIGHTS: The lady eagles placed 1st in the 4x800m relay! Kaylynn Bilderback placed 2nd in the 3200m with a new PR & 2nd in 300m hurdles, & 3rd in pole vault! Bella Yourchisin placed 2nd in the 800m & the 1600m!! Alexis hamilton placed 1st in the 400m with a new PR! Will Chatman placed 1st in the 1600m & 2nd in the 800m! Noah Fletcher placed 3rd in shot put & 2nd in discus with a new PR of 35.17m breaking the Plato High School discus record!!! Plato FFA's Estella Turner, Payton Pimentel and Aarika Todd competed at the South Central District Horse Evaluation competition. They qualified for the State Competition scheduled for April 16 in Columbia Missouri. Way to go Eagles!
