Baseball Tournament Update:
Plato Eagles will play at 5 pm vs. the Houston Tigers on Friday, April 8, and then only play one game on Saturday, April 9, at 2 p.m. vs. the Cabool Bulldogs. Newburg was unable to play 3 games, so the Plato vs. the Newburg Wolves game has been canceled. Newburg will play Houston and Cabool as scheduled.

The kindergarten classes took advantage of a beautiful day and went on โkindness walks.โ The classes stopped to help one of the neighbors near the school pull weeds and pick up sticks. It is amazing what 30 kids can do in just a few minutes. #kindnesskonnection #platorv

Mr. Cooper, Superintendent of the Plato R-V School District, attended the Statewide Month of the Military Child Kickoff that was held in Jefferson City on Wednesday, April 6th. First Lady, Teresa Parson, presented the Governorโs Resolution declaring April as the Month of the Military Child. In addition, Brig. Gen. Niave Knell, the Commandant of the U.S. Army Military Police School, and Dr. Margie Vandeven, the Commissioner of Education, also spoke at the Kickoff. Dr. Brian Henry, Superintendent of the Waynesville R-VI School District, was the master of ceremony for this event that honored our military children.
